Trainers

For the April 18th seminar in New York, the trainers will be Eliyanna Kaiser (left) and Audacia Ray (right), who shared the title of Executive Editor at $pread Magazine for three years.

Eliyanna Kaiser has worked as an union organizer, professional student organizer, and now works in public policy in New York State government. Working in politics, part of Eliyanna’s job is to form media messages and respond to press inquiries, and she hopes to share her insights with the participants of Speak Up!

Audacia Ray is a former sex worker and present sex worker advocate. In addition to being an editor at $pread, Dacia is the author of Naked on the Internet: Hookups, Downloads, and Cashing In on Internet Sexploration. She is the award winning director and producer of the feature length porn film The Bi Apple, the producer and star of comedic short Dacia’s Love Machine, and the producer/camera woman/editor of many online videos, including her all-review podcast Live Girl Review and a series for the Village Voice, Naked City. Dacia has blogged for Fleshbot, Naked City, and Waking Vixen - the latter is her very own five year old blog. She presently works for the International Women’s Health Coalition as their online strategist and is an adjunct professor of human sexuality at Rutgers University. She has appeared live on CNN talking about the Eliot Spitzer mess, has been quoted in the New York Times, and over the years has said her share of stupid things to journalists.
